Course Details
• Complete the four-course training modules
• 3 years of on-the-job experience within the last 10 years in construction projects or built environment projects
The PMI-CP™ course curriculum is divided into four main domains and the figure in percentage denotes the percentage of questions from respective modules in the certification exam
1. Contracts Management (50%): Managing risks, the claims process, contract lifecycle, and interface management.
2. Stakeholder Engagement (30%): Focuses on communication tools, preventing communication issues, and managing stakeholders effectively.
3. Strategy and Scope Management (15%): Includes defining scope, handling change orders, and utilizing tools for scope management.
4. Project Governance (5%): Addresses governance models and scope governance structures for built environment projects.
Module Wise Course Details:
Module 1: Contracts Management
• Manage risks and the risk process for Construction and Built Environment Projects
• Determine how to apply risk tools appropriately
• Manage the claims process
• Manage the contract lifecycle effectively
• Implement the Interface Management process efficiently
Module 2: Stakeholder Management
• Utilize Communication Tools Appropriately to engage stakeholders and maintain proper communication
